Between Sept 2022 and March 2023 4MNet in collaboration with AAF worked on a project funded by Best Beginnings. Sure-Access empowered minoritised black women at risk of or living within violence to become independent and act as champions and advocates for their own safety and those of their peers during pregnancy, childbearing and after birth.

The project also created awareness of and enables the use of the baby buddy app https://www.babybuddyapp.co.uk/ which aims to empower parents and care-givers to build their knowledge and confidence for the crucial first five years of their child’s life, when foundations are laid.

We set up 4MNet to meet our priority of providing ourselves and our peers with psycho-social, perinatal support, as an essential part of our sexual and reproductive health and rights. This translates into positive outcomes for our babies, extended family and communities.

Core funding especially is an ongoing challenge for small women's rights organisations like ours and your support will go a long way in diversifying our income and sustainability to enable us uphold our Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights throughout our life.
