Glasgow 2024 Conference
Members of the the 4M Team attended and presented at the conference.
- Memory Sachikonye – The title of her presentation was: Analytical Treatment Interruption (ATI): Women’s concerns and potential benefits.
- Rebecca Mbewe – In her role as SHARE Collaborative team member, presented their poster on the SHIELD Study titled: ‘Don’t turn that patient away, they must be seen.’ A qualitative exploration of the views of London HIV clinical service providers on HIV care engagement challenges.
- Angelina Namiba – spoke in the opening plenary. Her presentation was titled: The Stigma Spectrum: From Past Lessons to Future Solutions.
World AIDS Day Reception at No.10 Downing Street
Several members of 4M Net including Rebecca and LeaSuwanna, were invited to attend the event, which was co-organized by THT, The National AIDS Trust and The Elton John AIDS Foundation. 4M Net members were invited due to their additional affiliations with these organizations.

Memory Sachikonye was the key note speaker. Her talk was titled: My personal story and advocating for no new HIV transmissions by 2030. Memory together with Angelina Namiba, was one of the 6 people living with HIV, invited to have a private audience with the Prime Minister.
World AIDS Day Parliament Event
Rebecca Mbewe was/spoke on a panel, alongside Florence Eshalomi MP, Kemi Agunbiade of The National AIDS Trust (NAT), Juddy Otti of The Africa Advocacy Foundation (AAF) and Dr Vanessa Appea, at a Parliamentary event on: Ending inequalities for Black communities living with HIV.
The event was organized by NAT and The One Voice Network (OVN).
Rebecca also spoke on a panel at the HIV Action Plan event organized by NAT, The United Kingdom alumnae Chapter (UKAC) and The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF).


Joyful Noise Choir (JNC)
Several members of 4M Net belong to the Joyful Noise Choir of People living with HIV. The Choir is a project of the Naz Project.

This year the choir performed at a number of events, including at the End of Year Celebration for staff at Gilead offices, where Estelle – 4M Net Lead Mentor Mother, spoke about her lived experience, as well as the importance of Peer Support.
ACT-UP London Pin-Ups Calendar
7 Members of 4M Net (Tresca, LeaSuwanna, Mel, Rebecca, Memory, Charity and Angelina) are all featured in the calendar, which celebrates HIV Activism and contains significant HIV Activism dates, day-By-day.
This calendar was also launched in November.

Naked Truth Calendar
Mentor Mother LeaSuwanna is one of the models featured in the Naked Truth Calendar, launched at Positive East in November.
